Eileen M. Post

Eileen M. (Wolfe) Post, 75, of Nettles Island, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. She was born on September 13, 1935 in Huntington, Indiana and resided in Fort Wayne, Indiana from 1948 to 1998. She retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools South Transportation. She is a member of St Therese Catholic Church. She led a joyful life. She has been a great mentor and inspiration to all of us-she suffered much but yet never did anyone hear her complain. She is so beloved by all and will always be in our hearts. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Victor, of Nettles Island, Florida; children, Victoria (Drake) Hogestyn of Malibu, CA; Peggy (James) Warner, Roanoke, IN; David (Lisa) Post of Carmel, IN; Mike Post (Michael Nelaborige) of Kendallville, IN; thirteen grandhchildren, Dr. Rachael (Will) Morton, Ben Schieferstein, Whitney Hogestyn, Alexandra Hogestyn, Rya Morgan (Todd Atkeson), Ty Warner, Dr. Brittny (Kenton) Hilbish, Brian Post, Jonathon Post, Cort Post, Arlee Post, Zach Post and Kailee Post; eight great grandchildren, Avery Marie Morton, Madolyn Morgan, Janie May Morgan, Wren Marie Atkeson, Hudson Warner, Olivia Hilbish and Travis Post; sister, Joyce Chamness Dunkle, of Ft Wayne, and many other beloved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by great-grandson, Oliver Morgan, in 2002. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30am Monday, October 4, 2010 at St Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Rd. with calling one hour prior to Mass. Visitation also from 2-5 and 6-8pm Sunday with a Rosary recited at 7:30pm at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton, Winchester Rd. Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
