Elaine Bowers, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014. She was born on March 3, 1935, in LaOtto to the late Charles E. and Bernice Elizabeth (Edgar) Farmer, Sr. She worked as a homemaker. Surviving family includes her daughters, Pat (Kevin) Schlosser and Chris (Mike) Brisentine; grandchildren, Ryan and Jana Schlosser, Manda and Kurt (fiancé-Lynn) Overly; step granddaughter, Sara (Eric) Brisentine; and 2 great granddaughters. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Charles L. Bowers. A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Anne’s Home.
