Elaine Elizabeth Hendrickson

Elaine Elizabeth Hendrickson, 63, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her home. She was born on August 12, 1960 in Columbia City, Indiana, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Stytle. She attended Paul Harding High School, class of "79". She retired in November 2023 as a Property Manager for several apartment communities in Fort Wayne. Elaine loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her summers at the lake, holidays with family, and collecting cookie jars. She enjoyed summer garage sales, online shopping, and watching her favorite shows; Bluebloods, Chicago PD, Med and Fire. She is survived by her husband, Frank Hendrickson of Fort Wayne whom she married on February 14, 2004. She is also survived by her children, Robert (Katie) Thompson of Alma, Michigan, Brian (Liz) Thompson of Auburn, Indiana, Amber (Thomas) Murdock of Fort Wayne, Kaleb Hendrickson of Edon, Ohio, Laura (Jim) Moses of Fort Wayne, and Kaitlyn (Kyle) Essick of Warsaw, Indiana; grandchildren, Megan, Damion, Byron, Lily, Evan, Vanessa, Jordyn, Brittney, Jamie, Jimmy, and Liam; great-grandchildren, Quill, Lilah, Landen, and Talen; sisters, Diana (Dean) Reust, Cindy Lamb, Jackie Gebhard, and Lena Stytle; brother, Keith Stytle; several nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her son, Brandon Thompson; and brother, Robert Stytle. Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
