Eleanor M. Byanski, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She was born on June 24, 1931 in Derby, Connecticut to the late Michael and Anna (Golob) Kurtyka. She retired as a nurse’s aide at Lutheran Life Village, South Anthony Blvd. Surviving family include husband, Donald Byanski; daughters, Christine (Michael) Goshert, Bridgette (Tony) McAfee; son, Charles Byanski; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and sister, Bertha Belden. She was also preceded in passing by her sister, Dorothy. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to DaVita Fort Wayne West at Home.
