Eleanor L. Klemke

Eleanor L. Klemke, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center at 1:17 p.m. Born July 10, 1930, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Theron Justice Kitchen and Lelta Alverta Bray.

She worked at Children Protective Services for 10 years and was a former employee of Lincoln Life Insurance Co. and General Electric. She was a member of Highview Home Ec Club.

She is survived by five children, Sandra (Donald) Sellet of Laotto, IN; Sharleen (Karl) Eichel of Columbus, IN; Robert (Theresa) Klemke Jr. of Fort Wayne; Donna (Max) Pace of Fort Wayne; Gwenn (James) Wasmuth of Kokomo, IN; sister, Shirley (King) Carman of Florence, SC; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Tim Anderson officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home.
