Elizabeth Jean Gross

Elizabeth Jean Gross, age 69, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, known to many as "Beth" passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2023 at home with family at her side. She was born a daughter of the late Bob and Jean Ross on June 20, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio. She lived most of her adult life in Fort Wayne where she was the receptionist at The Towne House Retirement Community for many years. Beth loved "Vanlife" where she traveled the whole country making friends along the way. Her grandkids were her life. She was a lifelong reader and was able to fulfill her dream of working as a librarian before her passing. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mark Gross and grandson, Layon Chapman. Beth will be fondly remembered by her daughters, Megan Goodier and Jill Goodier; grandchildren, Lamond Goodier, Lamoni Chapman and Lamir "Chief" Chapman; siblings, Judi Ross, Frank Ross and Susi (Kendall) Miller; and dear friends.
