ELIZABETH "BETTY" ULERY-HODGES, 85, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. Surviving are her sons, Sonny Ulery of New Haven and Joseph (Maria) Ulery of Fort Wayne; daughter, Kay (Eric) Curtis of LaOtto; daughter-in-law, Shirley Ulery of New Haven; brothers, William Richey and Thomas Richey, both of Toledo, Ohio; sister, Marieta (Kevin) Cox of Georgetown, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Richey and Mary Oberkiser; first husband, Robert Ulery; second husband, Jack Hodges; son, Alan Ulery; daughter, Marilyn Ulery; and sisters, Sandra Sass and Judith Bellinger. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at First Baptist Church of New Haven, 1716 Werling Road, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor David Trimble officiating. Visitation also from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of New Haven Building Fund.
