ELSIE E. DOUGLAS, 95, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Golden Years Homestead. She was born in Fort Wayne the daughter of Carlos and Alta (Tracey) Campbell. She was a graduate of South Side High School and retired from Lincoln National Life volunteering at numerous organizations. She was a member of United Faith Presbyterian Church and had served for 65 years as the church organist and choir director. Surviving are her daughter, Janice (Darrel) Curneal of New Haven; son, David (Barbara) Werstler of Huntington; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Werstler; brother, Charles Campbell; and sister, Helen Howell. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at United Faith Presbyterian Church, with calling one hour prior. Friends may also call from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Winchester Road Chapel. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Preferred memorials to United Faith Presbyterian Church or Heartland Hospice.
