Emily Roberta Everett, 89, passed away December 29, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on August 20, 1936, in Lisbon, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond Booth and Doris McGeath (nee Johnson).
She graduated from high school in Presque Isle Maine.
Emily retired from Sears at Glenbrook Mall after 30 years of service. After retirement she continued to work at various daycare facilities in the Dupont area of Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Jack E. Everett Sr. of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Jack E. (Connie) Everett Jr. of New Haven, IN; Scott Everett, sister, Martha “Marty” McGeath Weber of Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren, Andrea Baldwin, Christy Everett, Alexis Everett and six great grandchildren.
Emily was preceded in death by her stepfather Orlo McGeath.
Private burial will be held at Highland Park Cemetery. No public services currently.
