Emily Joan Faylor

Emily Joan Faylor, 75, of New Haven, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. She was born on January 28, 1950, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter to the late Roy and Dorothy (Landrigan) Simon. Emily worked as a sales manager for area department stores, including Wolf & Dessauer, L. S. Ayres, and Kohls. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and reading. Surviving are her husband, Bruce T. Faylor; daughters, Leslie (Andrew) White and Katie (Stephen) Hernandez; grandchildren, Ella, Aaron, and Sophia; and siblings, Kay (Mike) Sorg, John (Ruthie) Simon, Lorraine Williams, Sarah (Ken) Sorg, and Rick (Holly) Simon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Ian; sister, Ann (Don) Cline, and infant brother, Paul James Simon. Funeral Services for Emily will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 11:00 am at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Mungovan, 2114 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802 with visitation one hour prior.
