Eric Alphonso Logan

Eric Alphonso Logan was 52 when he passed from this life on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital. Eric was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on February 19, 1971 to the late Alphonso Doughtry and Virginia Logan.

Eric completed his early years of learning through the Portsmouth City Public school system and had attended the I.C. Norcom High School. He obtained his associate degree in Information Technology from ITT in Virginia and worked many years as an contractor in Information Technology.

Eric loved to create and listen to music, working on computers, and simply hanging with family and friends. Those that really knew him knows, he truly had the gift of gab.

In July of 1999 he married Keisha Lawrence, and began their family in Massachusetts. In 2007 they made Fort Wayne, Indiana their home after living in Manassas, Virginia.

Eric leaves to cherish many fond memories to his loving wife Keisha, three children, Xavier, Jaylen and MiKayla Logan; a brother, Warner (Daraell) Logan; a sister, Kiesha Pickens; father and mother in-law, Johnny and Rhonda Lawrence; 3 brothers-in-law, Joshua Lawrence, Jermaine (Natoshia) Goree and Marcus Hill; niece, Monet Pickens, Nikeylah Pickens, Essence Jordan, Winter Logan, Autumn Logan and Johniece Elliott; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents and other relatives.

A visitation for Eric will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Cornelius Hill.
