Uncle Justo, Steve, Jillette and family,
I’m so sorry to hear about Ericka. Ericka was probably 2 or 3 years old when I last saw her on Guam.  I wish I made the time to make lasting memories like others have. I’ve seen the beautiful photos she’s taken including photos of Denali National Park, AK when Ericka and family took Uncle Justo there.  May she Rest In Peace.

I grew up in the little town of Knob Noster with Ericka. She was always a lively, kind, and polite person. She had a feisty side but she was always willing to help people if they needed help. She had a smile that could lift anyone's day. She was funny, intelligent, confident, and openly friendly. Her light in today's world will be greatly missed. Rest well, my friend.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Steve and their entire family. 
Ericka was always so kind, whenever she saw me outside working in my yard she never hesitated to ask me if I needed any help.  She was always so passionate about her flowers and her photography and it showed in both.
Rest in peace my friend. 


I worked with her at Walmart store 5025! She was so much fun to hang with and talk to. You will be missed!! My condolences to her family during this difficult time 

Ericka "Rico" was pure dynamite!!! She was as kind as she was high-spirited, always encouraging and full of life. In many ways, her continued optimism during her journey was an inspiration to all of us who knew her, particularly those of us who we're connected from a distance.

Our prayers are certainly with you. There is most likely a very difficult silence without her laughter and energy in the room or at the table. Pandemic certainly adds to that pain, but we pray that the best of times flood your minds and hearts the most.

I firmly believe that we are created for eternity and that these bodies, just shells this Side of Heaven, are traded for new bodies that reflect the perfect glory of God almighty. If you think she could play softball back in the day, she is Unstoppable now!

Our love and prayers to each of you. Thank you for letting us be part of Ericka's amazing life. We thank God for "Rico."

Steve: so very sorry to hear of the passing of the love of your life, Ericka. Ericka was a beautiful lady inside and out. She loved life and you and her family. Hold on tight to those memories, no one can ever take them away. They will help you in the coming days. Remember you have a special guardian Angel looking over you. May Ericka rest in peace.

This was taken in Okinawa when Dad was stationed at Kadena Air Force Base. I was visiting from Guam. Ericka was just a little thing. This is one of my favorite photos of the two of us.

Ericka was such a wonderful woman.  She did a photo shoot for my two foster girls, age 11 and 13.  They stated that the experience was one of the best times of their lives  and one they will never forget.  The pictures turned out beautiful and the girls felt so special (one of the few times in their lives).  They had so much fun and you could definitely see the passion for photography in Ericka. 

Thank you Ericka, for all that you did for the girls and me.  You are forever in our hearts!  Love you!
