Ernest Allen Stahl, 69, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 after battling pancreatic cancer. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN, on March 7, 1948. He enjoyed competition shooting, fishing, spending time outdoors, and traveling out West. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army. Surviving are his spouse of 45 years, Linda Stahl; mother, Margaret Ann Stahl; sons, Kevin (LeAnne) Stahl, Jeffrey (Leslie) Stahl, David (Kelly) Stahl; grandsons, Lucas and Jacob Stahl; brother, Carl Stahl; sisters, Janet (Dean) Fager, and, Judy (Mark) Walker; and his beloved dog, Max. Ernest was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Eugene Stahl. Funeral service is 2:00 pm, September 30, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with Rev. Dr. Dean Fager officiating and calling 1 hour prior. Visitation will also be at the funeral home Friday, September 29, 2017, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
