With our "most deepest" sympathy in the loss of your loved one. We also lost a son in 2007. Joshua was 22 years old. Our hearts broke when we heard about your family being in the accident & the loss of, Ethan.  Such a precious young life to have been lost.  We are just so sorry for your sadness & all you are having to endure. You continue to be in our thoughts & in our prayers.
We are in a group called, The Compassionate Friends, that supports family after a child dies. It is a
self-help organization that is open to all bereaved families that have experienced the death of a child, sibling, or grandchild from any cause, at any age, from pre-birth to adulthood. The mission of, The Compassionate Friends, is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child & to provide information to help others be supportive.
At the meetings we share our experiences resulting from our child's death, & how we deal with those experiences. The chance to talk & share & listen is so important in the grieving process. If you ever are interested in attending, there is no time frame in which to start coming. Come when you think you are ready to meet others who understand how you feel. There is a chapter in Fort Wayne that meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm - 9:30pm with the exception of July & December.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family in this very difficult time. As a Mother myself, I can not even begin to imagine your pain and suffering. God MUST have some really big plans for Little Ethan to bring him home so early. May you continue to feel God's love and may he continue to help you heal! This is a terrible tragedy. Jamie, my brother Jerry just told me about this yesterday and my heart just broke for you. Such a senseless tragedy and, yet, God has His reasons for everything, we just need to be strong in our faith to understand. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

I'm a friend of Brenda's and heard of this tragic accident through our daughter who is the pastor's wife at the church in Dearborn where Brenda and Pete serve. We have been praying for you daily since we heard this news--for courage and strength-- and praying above all that the God of ALL comfort will pour His comfort and peace into your hearts.  We are naturally concerned for your other children as well--that they may receive His gentle help and learn, even at their young ages, to trust their Heavenly Father.
