Evelyn June Hamilton

Evelyn June Hamilton, 77, of Fort Wayne passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015. She was born on March 12, 1938 to the late Carl Gause and Evelyn (Selph) Gutman. She worked as an office manager at K-Mart distribution and at United Art & Education after retirement. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Fort Wayne and most recently was attending Concordia Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She enjoyed gardening, baking, her card club, bowling with her husband in earlier years and Wii bowling in the later ones. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and was particularly proud of her grandchildren. Surviving family include her children, Kathy (Tom) Clark, Brett Hamilton, Carrie (Ron) Teubert; grandchildren, Ryan, Aly, Sydney, Dylan, Sophia; sister, Tonia Reuille; half-brothers, Mike and Archie Gause. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Kenneth Hamilton; and sisters, Carolyn Miller and Joann Yawn. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian. Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
