Faye Ann Haines, 89, has been reunited in heaven with her husband, Eugene G., on July 6, 2026. She was born on May 24, 1937, in Clay County, Iowa, a 1955 graduate of South Side High School. Faye got married on June 6, 1964, in Hamilton, Indiana.
She was the retired COO of Haines Agency, Inc. and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Faye is survived by her daughter, Holly (Tom) Volz; a sister, Marcia (Tom) Ringle; a brother, Robert (Gwen) Mathisen; a grandson, Logan (Kaden) Krysa-Volz; two nieces, Tammy (Jeremy) Duke and Catie (Brian) Stenzhorn; and a nephew, Tom (Lori) Mathisen.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene Haines; and her parents, Kermit Elroy and Evelyn Mathisen.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, from 10:00 am -11:00 am, with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Covington Memorial Gardens.
