Faye Arlene Woody passed peacefully on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born on March 28, 1936, in Wakarusa, Indiana, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Katherine (née Behney) Null.
She resided in Fort Wayne, Indiana for many years and was married to the late Martin Woody. Faye worked many years as Manager of Kmart Department Stores retiring in 2001.
Faye loved to exercise at Curves where she met her best friend, Connie Brockhaus. Thrifting, collecting Angels, coins, doing word search and her pets were some of the things she treasured.
Faye was the longest living of her 15 brothers and sisters.
She will always be remembered by being kind, helpful, generous, fun, sassy, sometimes bossy, but always knew and spoke her own mind. But most of all she was a loving person that will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
A Funeral Celebrating her life will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the St. Anne Home Chapel, 1900 Randallia Drive (46805) with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm prior to service. Burial will follow in Lindenwood Cemetery.
