Fern E Clemens, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on September 16, 2021. Born on November 16, 1930, in Columbia City, she was a daughter of the late Paul L and Lillian (nee Heichel) Druley. She was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church, and retired from General Electric, after more than 30 years of service. She also loved ballroom dancing, with her beloved husband Al, as well as painting, and was a skilled seamstress.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Alan B Clemens; children Loren (Aimee) Fry, Robert (Vicky) Fry, Dennis (Melody) Fry, and Randall (Anita) Fry; step-children, Larry (Brenda) Clemens, Sue Kelty, Doug (Kathy) Clemens, Robin Clemens, and Ron (Beth) Clemens; 18 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Etta (Bob) Clark; and brother, Lowell (Susie) Druley. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd Druley; and grandsons, Joshua Vasquez, and Toby Fry.
Funeral service will be 1:30pm, Monday, September 27, 2021, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 6pm, Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
