Floyd Earnest Carbaugh Jr.

Floyd Earnest Carbaugh Jr. 80 died Sunday January 9, 2021 at Summit City Nursing Home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born December 5, 1940 in Marienville, PA to the late Floyd Earnest Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Carbaugh. He graduate from Forest County High School in 1958. Floyd joined the Air Force after school and served his country until 1962. He was a longtime member and Usher at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. Floyd was an avid golfer and bowler. He worked a Magnavox as an Electronic Technician and worked part time at Sears in the automotive department and in shipping. Floyd is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Carbaugh of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter Angie Searles, son Steve Carbaugh, granddaughers, Amanda Manning, Becky Manning, Curtis (Suzanne) Carbaugh of PA, sister Elizabeth Harp of VA. He was preceded in death by his siblings Robert Carbaugh, Eva Regina. Funeral service will be 1:30 Wednesday February 3, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN with visitation two hours prior. Burial in Concordia Gardens Cemetery. Family requests dressing casually.
