Your friends at Lutheran Military Veterans and Families Ministries share in grateful remembrance of Frank -- as an Army veteran (Korea) and as father of our LMVFM co-worker Dr. Michael J. Luarde.

In Frank's memory, a gift has been made to LMVFM by our staff, and an Army ornament named for Frank will hang on the LMVFM Christmas tree.

Rest eternal grant him, O Lord, and light perpetual shine upon him. Amen.

Frank will be missed by the dancing community. I remember riding down to Indianapolis with him on a Friday night to go dance at Any Swing Goes Dance. He was always happy, always friendly and ever present to hear about your week. Please accept my sympathy and prayers through this difficult time.

Luarde family,
None of you will know me but I knew Frank from Spiece Fitness. I would usually see him in the pool swimming laps and would call him Michael Phelps. He had a good laugh on that one. Seriously I enjoyed chatting with him at the gym and he inspired me to keep working out. He was certainly and inspiration by staying active. Unfortunately I haven’t seen him for awhile as I believe he changed gyms but his obituary was posted at Spiece. What a great guy! He’s one of a kind and will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
