Garry McElfresh, 72, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Garry was born on September 1, 1951, in Lubbock, TX to the late William Richard and Helen Marie (Snodgrass) McElfresh. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Gilbert Ray Chittum; his stepbrothers, Larry R. Chittum and Edwin Lewis Chittum, all of Portland, Indiana. He is survived by his sister Bonnie (Chittum) Schneider of Clovis, NM.
Garry loved Jesus with all his heart and would take any opportunity to speak to his friends and those he came across in daily life about Him. He loved the word of God. Garry lived life as a Jesus revolutionary. He loved his Jesus music and his artwork.
Garry’s memorial service will be Saturday, May 4th at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior, at Harvest Fellowship Church, 1001 W Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN.
