

Gary Glowaski, 62, of Ft. Wayne, passed away on Sat. July 23 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on May 6, 1949, in St. Paul, MN, he was the proud son of Verne and Mary Ann Glowaski. A devoted husband and father, Gary’s commitment to the elderly, poor, and suffering was and is an inspiration to all that knew him. His unwavering faith in God gave him strength and fueled his daily work. He also loved all things baseball and Bob Dylan.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Mary, and sons Patrick of Ft. Wayne, and Paul (Molly Nakahara) of Chicago Park, California; parents, Verne and Mary Ann Glowaski, of St. Paul, MN; brothers, James (Rochelle) Glowaski and Tom (Jody) Glowaski, both of MN; sister, Mary Kay (Doug) Meuivssen, of MN; brother, John (Cindy) Glowaski, of MN and sister, Debbie (Bruce) Lindberg, of MN; and mother-in-law, Kathleen Devine, of Fort Wayne. Mass of Christian Resurrection is 10:30 am Thursday, July 28, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4500 Fairfield Ave. Visitation is 3-8 pm Wednesday at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton, Wayne St. Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St. with a Vigil Service at 7:30 pm.
