Gene G Beghtel

Gene G. Beghtel, 82, went to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born March 25, 1938 in Warren, IN to the late Guy and Mildred Beghtel. Gene graduated from South Side High School, Fort Wayne, IN in 1957. He proudly served his country in the US Navy on the USS Boxer (CVS-21). His memberships include Gethsemane Lutheran Church, St. Michaels Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 47, and VFW Post 11438 in Leo, IN. Gene worked for Bob Luderman Associates Inc for 20 years and retired in 2001. Before moving back to Fort Wayne, IN in 2019, he sold real estate in Florida. Most recently he was employed by Granite Ridge Builders in Fort Wayne, IN.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, June Beghtel of Fort Wayne, IN; children: David G. (Lori) Beghtel of Albion, IN; Dawn T. (James) Wagoner of Columbia City, IN; Danielle T (Scott) Cummings of Fort Wayne, IN; Daianna T. (Gary) Hamilton of Bozeman, MT. Siblings, Carol J. Sims of Homosassa, Fl; Janet R Bresler of Groton, SD; Jaci A DiGregory of Fort Wayne, IN; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Gene was preceded in death by his brother Keith A. Beghtel.
