Gene Chapman Craft, 88, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed from this life peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2026, with family at his side. He was born September 18, 1937, in Pontiac, Michigan, to the late Joseph and Ida (nee. Hurd) Craft.
Gene served honorably in the United States Air Force, Air Reserves and National Guard. He was a Free & Accepted Mason and Shriner.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing and boating. He worked as an engineer for many years at Nava Star and Dana Corporations.
He leaves to cherish many memories to his loving wife, Jamie Lee Craft; sons, Monte (Honor) Lothamer, Phil (Renee) Lothamer and Glen Lothamer; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, (46825) with visitation one-hour prior services. Pastor Keith Schreffler, officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, IN 46737.
