Gerald Davis, 81, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025. Gerald was born October 21, 1943, in Griffin, Georgia, son to the late John Will and Emma Lue (Wellmaker) Davis. He retired from the U. S. Air Force, after 20 years, as a Tech Sergeant. Gerald then worked for Chrysler Corporation, before his retirement. He is survived by his children, Kenneth J. Lyons, Jason Davis, Tyronne (Stacy) Davis, Crystal Davis, and Monique Davis; several grandchildren; and brother, Greg (Deborah) Wellmaker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Lawrence. Visitation for Gerald will be held Friday, August 15, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, followed by a celebration of life memorial service at 1:00 pm.
