Gerald "Gary" Eugene Frauhiger

Gerald “Gary” Eugene Frauhiger, 76, passed away peacefully, August 15, 2022, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Gary was born December 27, 1945, in Decatur, Indiana, to Harry and Berniece (Hannie) Frauhiger. He was the fourth oldest child of 11 children. Gary worked as a restauranteur developing kitchen menus and food for Crazy Coyotes. He then moved into the world of commercial kitchen equipment sales and life insurance, for which he traveled all over the country. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling with his wife, Carol, and the occasional glass of Johnny Walker Blue. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Sheets) Frauhiger; two sons, Brad (Melanie) of Carmel, Indiana, and Brian (Katherine) Frauhiger of Bluffton, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Savannah, Ella, Emma, Hudson, Ethan, Quinn, and Aubrey; four brothers, Fred (Nancy) Frauhiger of Carmel, Ind., Phil (Linda) Frauhiger of Fort Wayne, Ind., Stan (Lou) Frauhiger of Decatur, Ind., and Bill (Mia) Frauhiger of Michigan; and sister, Mary Jo Frauhiger of Decatur. Gary was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Gabrielle Frauhiger; his parents, Berniece and Harry Frauhiger; his brothers, James Frauhiger and Robert Frauhiger; and sisters, Judith Frauhiger, Carolyn Frauhiger Gerber, and Barbara Frauhiger Weiss.
