Gerald L. Zartman, 60, of Garrett, formally of Ft Wayne, died April 1, 2010 in Payne, OH. He was born September 23, 1949 in Fort Wayne. He retired from BF Goodrich after 35 yrs and was US Army veteran. Surviving are his sons: Barry (Christina) Zartman, of Auburn; Anthony (Patricia) Zartman, of Ft Wayne; Barney (Joceyln) Zartman, of New Port Richey, FL; daughter, Anna (Robert) Mills, of Butler; sons, Gary (Beth) Zartman, of Garrett; Gabriel Zartman, of Garrett; daughter, Theresa Zartman, of Butler; son, Michael Zartman, of Ft Wayne; daughter, Maggie Zartman, of Ft Wayne; former wife, Marianne Zartman, of Ft Wayne; brother, Terry (Margie) Zartman, of Payne, OH; sisters, Debra (Stan) Pratt, of Scott, OH; Julie (Kevin) Hirschey, of Dallas, TX; mother, Jean Zartman, of Payne, OH and 19 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Dean W. Zartman. Traditional Requiem Mass 10:00am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4643 Gaywood Ave. Visitation 2-5 & 7-9pm Tuesday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton, Winchester Rd.
