Glad I had the chance to take mom (Grace Spohr) to visit Gerri a few times in the last few months. Always admired Gerri's zest for life - no doubt that has been passed down to the whole family. Thinking of all of you and the wonderful memories you have to share! With love, Julie & Chuck Wolfe.

So many sweet memories of you, Great Grammy. The numerous times you took me out of school for appointments and didn’t bring me back until we had shared our fill of ice cream together. Teaching me about gardening and developing my love for vegetables. Many games of dominos and euchre played over a cup of coffee and much laughter. The hugs and kisses, cards and letters, dill pickles and baked goods, and countless other ways you showed me you loved me. Thank you for teaching all of us the importance of family and demonstrating that the simplest kind of life can be the richest. You’ve left behind a legacy of world changers and we hope to continue to make you proud. I can’t wait to see you again someday. Love you always GGG. ❤️ Alli

Grandma was a very special lady. After my parents separation my life took a different path and I didn't get to spend much time with her. But for unknown reasons "I'm guessing the lord had his hand in it" I often thought about her. Her laugh was a good one and l feel that l inherited it too, especially when someone comments on my laugh. My family went to see her here a couple weeks ago and she still was full of spirit. She was really surprised when we put Champ, one of our husky puppies in bed with her. She said "what is that? Get that dang thing off my bed".
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the service and funeral but know that my heart and prayers are with the family.

Treasuring happy memories of time spent with sister-in-law, Geri-swimming, ice skating, euchering, and babysitting. We enjoyed living long and not growing old with our mutual goal being Eternal Life. God will continue to bless her wonderful family and may you live long and not grow old. Love and much happiness, Aunt Grace
