Geraldine graduated from Salem High School. She was married Donald Halsey on March 30, 1953 in Butler, Ohio.
She was a member of The Pentecostals of Fort Wayne Church.
Geraldine enjoyed crocheting, crafting, shopping and spending time with her family. She was always reading her word (the Bible) and spending time in prayer.
She is survived by her children, Sheila Binns of Defiance, OH; Larry Halsey, Tony Halsey, Tim (Kim) Halsey, Donna (Gene) Smith all of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Virginia Baker of Toledo, OH; brother, Johnny Gumm of Hamilton, OH; 7 grandchildren, Chelsea Smith, Chandler Smith, Alexa Smith, Chris Halsey, Kristie Bradfield, Joshua Binns, Dustin Binns; and several great-grandchildren.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Halsey; sisters, Delia Nix and Cathernine Schlabach; brothers, James, Therman, Harrison and Donald Gumm; and grandson, Brandon Binns.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, December 30, 2024, at The Pentecostals of Fort Wayne Church, 935 Farwood Ave., Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior. Committal and Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery.
