Dear, Patty, Marianne, Anita, Matt, Sara and families,

My Cousin Linda Kuhn called me tonight with the sad news of your Mom's passing. I remember our childhood times together with fond memories!
As you know my Mom (Norma Boeckel) and your Mom have been best friends since they were children! I know they have not been in touch for a while now, but I want you all to know how much my Mom and your Mom cherished each others long friendship and truly loved each other. Over the years they both had fun sending each other funny cards and notes! My Mom would laugh as she would write her funny notes to your Mom, and anxiously await your Mom's funny responses.
It is a shame they lived so far apart as they got older.
I often thought of writing a letter to your Mom, dictated by my Mom, but I was afraid your mother would worry why my Mom could not write one herself.
I thought it best they cherish their memories and not worry about declining health issues.
My brother and I have decided not to tell Mom your Mom is now in heaven. We do not think she could mentally handle her loss.
I think it best they meet again in Heaven, when they meet, I can imagine them looking at each other saying - when did you get here?
I am happy to hear your Mom had such a large family to love her! I had no idea how large your family had become! Great grandchildren - WOW! That is wonderful.
May all your wonderful memories soothe your hearts. I know how proud and how very much she loves her family! She will remain in your hearts forever!
Sincerely, Nancy Boeckel

Dear Patty, Marianne, Anita and Matt,

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you and your families. Our dear Aunt Kay will be greatly missed. After our Grandpa Winkelmann died your mom lived with us. I have some pretty neat stories from those days. I wish I could have been with all of you today to tell them. She was a very special lady. Love, Sharon

Matt and family , we are sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of growing up on French St. with your family.
