Glenn “Teddy” W. Vann, 86, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025. A beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Glenn was born on June 8, 1939, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a 1957 graduate of George Washington Carver High School. In 1968, he moved with his family to Fort Wayne. Glenn achieved his bachelor's degree in business from St. Francis University and worked as a contracted administrator with Magnavox. He proudly served with the United States Marines. In his free time, Glenn enjoyed playing golf and softball. He was a faithful man who studied the bible with Jehovah’s Witness. Above all, Glenn loved his family dearly. His memory will forever be cherished in their hearts. Glenn is survived by his children, Glenn A. (Soraida) Vann, Lynn (Sarah) Vann, Walda Renee (James) Simms; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Lene McMullen; ex-wife, Bennie Faye Vann; and brother, Melvin Leon Baker.
