Gloria Ann Rogers

Gloria graduated from college with her master's degree. She worked for Ella's House Home Care and Lawson's Bridge Home Health Care.

Gloria was dedicated to her family and worked very hard to achieve her goals; she went back to school and didn't stop. Gloria received her associate degree in human services. She proceeded to get her bachelor's and master's degree in psychology of science.

She loved family gatherings and traveling to new places. Gloria loved to dance, and she was the life of the party. Gloria was such a family person and enjoyed getting glammed up. Gloria loved her son Chad, and she loved her family and never stopped giving to anyone in need. She would start her Christmas shopping 6 - 8 months in advance just so everyone would have a gift. Gloria is one of a rare kind and will truly be missed!

She is survived by her son, Chad Underwood; her siblings, Daniel (Tonda) Rogers, Velma Conwell, Lavonia (Richard) Perry and Shirley (Markus) Malone; her longtime companion, Alexis Blevins; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Lawson Sr. and Ella Underwood; her brother, Lawson Underwood, Jr.; her brother-in-law, Will Conwell; and nephew, Will Conwell II.

Visitation will be at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805, on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 8, 2026, with Dr. Pastor Harold Johnson officiating, at Kingdom Door Christian Worship Center, 1004 East Pontiac Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46803, at 12:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
