Harold “Red” Ohler, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019. He was born on May 15, 1929 in Payne, Ohio to the late Forest and Pearl (Klinker) Ohler. He married Patricia Linnemeier on September 2, 1950. Harold drove truck for forty years. He was a wonderful father and husband. Had a delightful sense of humor, loved to laugh, was patient and kind, much like his mother. Surviving Harold are his wife; Patricia (Linnemeier) Ohler; children, Cathy, Daniel, and David (Tamara); seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and three great- great grandchildren. Also proceeding him in passing was his daughter, Christine and grandson, Dustin. A funeral service will be 11am on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Greenlawn Funeral Home 6750 Covington Road Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 5-8pm at the Funeral home. Burial to follow the service.

I remember all the Bun bars we ate after he brought them home. I think he liked having a lot of kids around so there was always a lot of Bun bars ( as well as other candy). Red was a great dad. He will be missed.

I had the pleasure of caring for this wonderful man. Harold was my buddy, I looked forward to seeing him every day at work. That smile of his could melt anyone's heart. My prayers, my heart and my deepest sincerest Condolences goes out to his entire family!! I know how much you love this man and may our God give you the comfort for the rest of your lives with knowing just how much he loved you back.
