Harold C. Parker

Harold C. Parker, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015. He was born on September 14, 1923 in Fort Wayne to the late Alva and Helen (Hayes) Parker. He served in the U.S. Navy. He later retired from Dana Corp. as a receiving inspector after 27 years. He loved to travel, watch horses, and research any topic on Google. Surviving family include his daughters, Jeannette (Thomas) McClain, Terry (Greg) Luebke, Sandra (Michael) Wall; sons, Robert (Sandy) Parker, Raymond (Carla) Parker, Steve (Linda) Parker; 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Don (Barb) Parker and Helen Vondreau; and sister in laws, Dorothy and Ruth. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Frances (Slubowski) Parker; and siblings, Alvin, Clifford, Virgil, Marge, and Vera. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 10:30 am at Saint Anne Home, 1900 Randallia Dr., Fort Wayne with visitation starting at 9:00 am. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, Fort Wayne will be handling arrangements.
