Harold "JR" Fred Wegner Jr., 41, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. He was born on August 10, 1984, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Harold Wegner Sr. and Rebecca Lee (Gragg) Wegner. JR was known as a master roofer and genuinely loved his craft. He will be remembered for his love of dogs and Marvel comics and movies. JR is survived by his son, Harold Wegner III; his parents; sister, Christine Wegner; uncle, Tim Wegner; and aunts, Phyllis, Debra, Sue, and Carol. He is preceded in passing by his grandparents, Alvin and Anna Wegner; his aunt, Radene Jackson; and uncles, Kenneth "Sonny" Fusun and Dan Wegner. A visitation for Harold will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825. A funeral service will occur on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 12:00 pm, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825, with visitation beginning an hour prior. JR's final resting place will be at Highland Park Cemetery & Mausoleum, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825.
