Harriet Louise Siples, 97, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Coventry Meadows Health and Rehabilitation of Fort Wayne. She was born June 27, 1925, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of the late Edmund L. and Dorothy L. Shinnick.
Harriet is survived by her children, David B. Siples of Fort Wayne, IN, Nancy (Joe) Brumbeloe of Hattiesburg, MS; and granddaughter, Nikki Siples of Fort Wayne, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Russell H. Siples, Jr.; her sister, Dorothy Jean Thiele; and her daughter-in-law, Erin Siples.
A Memorial Service to honor Harriet's life and legacy will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Plymouth Congregational Church, 501 West Berry Street, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
