

Harry Leo Albrecht, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020. He was born to the late Clarence E. and Ruth F. (Russell) Albrecht in Belvidere, IL on November 7, 1935. He married the late Clarice Dean on September 3, 1958 in IL. He was a Veteran of the Air Force. During his time in the service he was a Radio Relay Equipment Repairmen and Radio Mechanic with 1981 Communications Squadron in Morroco, North Africa. He graduated from IIT with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He retired from Raytheon after 37 years as an Electrical Engineer. Harry was a member of Blackhawk Baptist Church and most recently attended Fellowship Ministry. He enjoyed walking and bicycling.
Harry is survived by his sons, Craig (Jennifer) and Kirk (Susanne) Albrecht of both of Fort Wayne; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Harold of Belidere, IL and Roger Albrecht of Marengo, IL; and sister, Nancy Goodger of Wonder Lake, IL. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Andrew Powers.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 10:00 am at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Maplewood Park (4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815) with visitation one hour prior. Service will be livestreamed on D.O. McComb and Son's Maplewood Park's Facebook Page. Social distancing guidelines will be followed. Burial will follow the service to Riverview Cemetery.
