Helen Quintano

Helen Quintano, 92, of New York, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020. She was born to late Antonio and Carolina DeParo on October 28, 1927 in Cosenza, Italy. Helen is survived by her children, Gregory (Theresa) Quintano, Richard (Patricia) Quintano, and Laura Quintano; grandchildren, Caroline Smith, Christina (Kyle) Hodgin, Richard Quintano II, Mary Popplewell, Carrie Austermann, Alexandra Quintano, Tedman (Kayla) Popplewell, and Zoe Austermann; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Tucciarone and Teresa Forlini; and brother-in-law, Tony Guido. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Quintano; and siblings, Mary Guido, Lou DeParo and Tony DeParo. Private family services will be held. Her final resting place will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Queens, NY.
