HELEN M. WYSS, 96, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Elizabeth Wyss. She was a 1939 graduate of South Side High School. Helen worked with General Electric for 42 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Elex Club at General Electric and Grace Lutheran Church. Surviving are her nephew, Edward Benedict of Fishers, Ind. and niece, Kay Benedict of Indianapolis, Ind. Helen was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Smith, and Rose Varney. Service is 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Ind. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
