I lived next to Herman, Blythe and the boys for many years. My condolences to the family. He was always willing to help with whatever you might have needed. Very devoted to his wife. Wish I would have known this happened and could have paid my respects. He will be truly missed by his friends and family. God bless and keep you. Faith

Grandpa was stubborn , always joking , always looking for the next project . The life he lived might have not been the easiest but he cherished every moment . I promised him I'd help look after grandma & that's exactly what I'm doing . That women is a true fighter . So don't worry grandpa she's in good hands . I've always done what I can to help & I enjoyed every moment I've ever spent with you & the moments I still spend with grandma . Her hearts missing but we're helping to keep her strong & keep her going ! I'll make sure my son knows who you are & he'll have a pretty good idea with Chet as his grandpa . We love you grandpa , you can rest easy . I've got grandma 🤞
Love your grandchild 💙

Uncle Herman, was so special to me. I have so many fun & happy memories of him and Aunt Bythe. When I was younger and wanted to buy my first car, he told me hang on Lizzie, let me find you the perfect car. He did and oh what a car it was. It was a beautiful 1968 fully restored Thunderbird ! I told him that I didn't have enough to buy it. He bought it for me and let me pay him back 25.00 a wk. It took a while but I got it paid off. I will miss him so much. There are so many wonderful memories. He was a super uncle and he will always be loved and remembered with a smile. Our hearts, thoughts, love & prayers are with you all.
