Herman Sorg Jr.

Herman Joseph Sorg Jr., 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. He was born to the late Herman Sorg Sr. and Elizabeth (McDowell) Richardson. on May 19, 1944 in Fort Wayne. Herman was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Herman is survived by his wife who has been his sweetheart since they were 16 years-old, Blythe Sorg; sons, Herman (Joann) Sorg III, Ralph (Tawn) Sorg, and Chester (Kelly) Sorg; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Moffett and Margaret Heath and brother-in-law, Richard Hardin. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Gilbert Sr. and sisters, Louise Landis and Mary Lou Thorn. Funeral service will be November 30, 2018 12 PM at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home (1327 N. Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808) with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery.
