HILTON MORRIS SR., departed this life on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.. He was born to Mary King Morris and Reuben Morris on July 7, 1936 in Turrell, Ark. He accepted Christ into his life. He served in the United States Army as a medic prior to coming to Fort Wayne. He retired from Zollner Corporation after 30 years of employment. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 60 years, Lola Burnett Morris; two daughters, Lovita (Pastor Maurice) Morris King of Fort Wayne and Terri (Rufus) Humphrey of Inglewood, Calif.; two sons, Hilton Morris Jr. and Cedric (Kateen) Morris, both of Fort Wayne; one godson, Jonathan (Loretta) Smith of Irving, Texas; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and five brothers - Hilton was the last surviving sibling. No service is scheduled at this time, but please remember the family in your thoughts and prayers. Sorrowfully submitted by the family.
