Homer Alvin Urell,77, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on November 25, 1946, in Redmond, Oregon, where he lived all his life until recently moving to Indiana to be closer to his children. Homer worked in the lumber mill in Redmond for many years before leaving to become a greens keeper at the golf course in Prineville. He was also a volunteer Fireman/EMT for many years in Prineville before retiring. Homer is survived by his, children, Dale (Angela) Urell and Jewelee (Richard) Lumpkin; grandchildren, Lillian Quijada, Kambria Hawkins, Shawna (Douglas) Phillips, Kaitlynn Urell, and Marshall Allen; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Angie Townsend. He is proceeded in death by his wife of 54 years, Peggy (Fall) Urell; father, Robert (Glenda) Urell; mother, Jewell Urell; in-laws, Howard and Mildred Fall; and several other family members. A memorial service will be held at a later date for both him and his wife in Prineville, Oregon.
