Howard L. McEwen

Howard L. McEwen, 72, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Detroit, MI, Howard worked as an X-Ray Technician with GE Medical Systems. He was a graduate from Cody High School and served honorably in the U.S Navy. Howard was a member of the Huntertown Woodworking Club. He enjoyed woodworking and being outdoors kayaking. He was an avid reader and liked mystery novels. He loved the beach and vacationing with friends, Bob and Betty McMahon. Above all he loved his grandchildren. Surviving are his son, Howard L. (Alicia) McEwen Jr. of Bellevue, KY; daughter, Tara (Steven) Hull of Roanoke, IN; his grandchildren, Daniel (Rosalinda) Hinen, Dagny McEwen, Victoria Hinen, Harper McEwen, and Carter Hull; sister, Margaret (Donnell) Connors of Waterford, MI; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Lorne and Lucy Margaret McEwen; and sister, Gwendolyn Kennedy. Service is 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at D. O.
