Isaac and I had nicknames for each other, he was princey, and I was princess. 
I was cleaning my room today when I found a little pouch that had letters from him and it just made my day, as today started out really crappy.
The letter: "Dear princess, Hi its me. I wanted to write you a little note here. I wish I had a more fine-point to write with but oh well. Sorry if my handwriting is unreadable. You make me really happy. I hope you know that. I might complain about you saying that you need all this attention and all, but I can get distant and I'm a loner and all okay. So its a good thing that you need all this attention. I am over joyed that its important to me to have you in my life. I'll eventually say or do something that is going to set you off and hate me. But I'm very glad to have you here. You do more than just make me happy, You know about how my childhood was like. Which is something I don't really like to talk about, but having you here makes everything better. -Sincerely, princey

It was always his lack of grammar and the comments about his "bad hand writing" that made me laugh, as he had beautiful hand-writing. I miss you so much Isaac, and know, I think about you all the time.

Happy birthday handsome boy. Today is your 21st birthday and believe me we all miss you. I hope you're celebrating your birthday with your family in heaven and the angels above. I love you Isaac.

isaac showed up in a dream of mine last night. i was always giving him a hard time in school. about a week before he passed, i was walking my girlfriend at the time home, we were about halfway there on us 24, when a car pulls up about 20 feet ahead of us. isaac was driving by and noticed us, he gave us a ride to her place and took me back home. this kid had the biggest heart i’ve ever seen in a person and he’s inspired me to be kinder and help anyone around me who might need it. thank you for changing my life isaac. and my condolences to the family, even to this day.

I actually just learned about his death today, which is saddening on my part, but I never knew. I made some really great memories during Summer School with him and I remember sitting down with the guy in Thirteenth Zodiac. He was telling me about his past and his feelings of anger back when he was in middle school. It was a touching moment and I enjoyed spending time with him. He was so welcoming and even gave me a hug when we met up in the halls. I was always looking for him during this time, and now that I realize he's gone, it makes me think how lucky I was to meet such a sweet person. Rest easy Isaac, you made so many people's day without realizing it.

When he showed me he got the kalimba, he said he didn’t even realize he was driving to Sweetwater. He told me he was driving aimlessly, but found himself right next to it. I asked how he found himself there, and he told me he thought God sent him there as a thank you in a way. He said God was thanking me for being willing to learn about Isaac’s religion and beliefs. I cried instantly. (Not into his chest this time haha).
Another time when him and I were hanging out at the Y, we were teasing each other so I jokingly called him weakling, so he threw me over his shoulder to prove me otherwise. It was the first time since I was a little kid that I was genuinely alright with someone picking me up. He made me genuinely comfortable, and I felt safe with him. He made sure of that. 
He was such a dork all the time, and always knew how to make me laugh or smile. 
Near the end of school last year, he wanted to take me on a (platonic) coffee date so we could talk and catch up. At the time we weren’t as close as we used to be, so I declined his offer. I don't think I’ll ever stop regretting that. 
We didn’t talk as much after that, but he still always checked in on me and was there regardless. He had a heart of pure gold. His personality was amazing, and he always fought to make people smile. If someone was upset, he’d drop everything to help them out. He truly was an amazing friend, and I wish so many more people got to know him before he passed. 
From him I have two kalimbas, gift cards, a stuffie, a beanie, and a hoodie. I treasure every gift/item I have of his. He was one of my most trusted friends. I’d do anything to hug him again, to hear him call me “lil sis”, or to hear him say “I love you” once more. 
Wherever he is, I hope he’s happy and safe. He deserves so much happiness, and I wish he could have been here longer to get it. 
Isaac, I miss you too much to explain in words, and I hope I’ll see you again sometime. I love you, big bro. I always will<3

I still can’t come to terms with the loss of someone who was my best friend for two+ years. Isaac was always SUCH a sweetheart, and he put so many people above him. 
Him and I hung out everyday after school at the ymca, and we always just vibed. I’m an overly emotional person, and he was constantly there for me. Once while hanging out at the Y, something upset me so I started crying. He held me to his chest and played with my hair until I calmed down. Once I was okay, he let me go and then called me a crybaby and yelled at me for “getting [his] favorite jacket wet” from tears. He did this every time I cried into his shoulder/chest because he knew it always made me laugh. 
Second semester of school last year I sat with him everyday at lunch. Him and I shared a lot of mutual friends, and we sat with a few of them. When he bleached and then dyed his hair pink, but only one spot, we always joked around and called him “highlighter”. He looked like an absolute dork, but he could pull anything off. He got a buzzcut once, and had three spots on his head, so me and our old friend group called him “bowling ball”. 
Him and I constantly teased each other, and we both had a lot of fun with it.
We planned to do so much together, like going on coffee dates, road trips, Disney, etc. I was planning on going to watch his rugby games, and he was going to watch me figure skate.
Middle of 2020, him and I were walking together to the Y from school, and he started talking about Catholicity and God. I told him I’ve never been taught about God, so he took me to a church where he taught me how to pray. On the way to church he told me a lot about his religion, and answered all of my questions happily. He showed me what to do in a church, and explained what things were. Later that day he told me to call him, so I did. I found him in Sweetwater, where he got me a crystal kalimba. I constantly talked about how much I wanted one, so he gladly got one for me. 1/2

I visit this page every time I see someone post something new. I still haven’t come to the fact isaac is no longer here with us on earth and when I realize it, it kills me. This summer we were supposed to go somewhere or do something together for our birthdays. I remember he didn’t want to tell me when his birthday was because he doesn’t like having everyone tell him happy birthday and doesn’t like people feeling like they had to get him presents. And then when I figured out when it was he was mad and we laughed it off and he told me to not tell anyone. I remember one of the last times I saw Isaac. I was upset and went on a drive to clear my mind and I had no clue where I was driving to. I had made it to the McDonald’s Isaac works at. I ended up texting him and he was kinda busy but he knew I was upset and he came and hung out with me and just talked to me. But that night Isaac said “Audrey it looks like you’re meeting my family tonight”. I was super nervous and all and I was awkward but he took me over there and we had some pizza and I was only over there for maybe a half an hour but I appreciated that half an hour. And I remember Isaac telling me to compliment his mom's hair because she had just got it done (it looked amazing by the way) and I can’t remember if I did or if I told Isaac to tell her it was really pretty afterwards. And then he drove me back and we stopped at the gas station and got some coffee and hung out for a while more. I just feel like his absence is consuming me, I don’t know who I am or where to go without him. I’m upset that I hadn’t talked to Isaac for ~a month. We were both jealous and just stopped talking. It was only supposed to be temporary. We had always talked about moving to the city together. Isaac told me about how he wanted to be a detective and I had thought about either being a mortician or a blood forensics scientist. And Isaac said we could be almost like a Bonnie and Clyde kinda thing but add a little bit of spice. I miss him

I loved Isaac he called me pretty bird on the daily say he was going to marry me when I would make cookies and browines for all the coworkers he made everything funny and kept a smile on my face  he was the best person to have around when a panic attack was on the horizon I love Issac and I will miss him , his smile, his hugs i will miss his being everyday 

Isaac was always so full of energy at work. He would either come outside and greet me before I came in or as soon as he noticed me and my other manager he’d announce our presence. I’m gonna miss his random conversations about things he’d learn or things he thinks we don’t know. He was always so kind and polite with everyone. It was a pleasure to know him. 

isaac was a good friend to me. he let me wear his hoodie when we went to see the live action lion king. it was raining at the time we went. i miss him a lot already! he was gone too soon but i know he’s with god now and he’s safe. rest in peace isaac🥺😭💔

I remember Isaac fondly during my visits at his family’s lake home. Isaac was so full of kindness, humor, and generosity. I pray for peace for Isaac’s loving family at this most difficult time.

I didn’t know Isaac super well but my daughter dated him freshman year. He was the most polite teen.  Always said thank you when I picked him up or dropped him off. He also also called us parents, Mr. or Mrs and our last name. My prayers are with the family and we will continue praying for you all. I’m so so sorry for your loss. 

I was Isaac’s teacher in fourth grade at Covington.  He always had a smile, and loved to express his sense of humor. He loved science experiments.  My prayers are with his family. He was always proud of his siblings

I’ve only known Issac for a while, but when I heard the news I was devastated and still am. I spent every day with him in summer school, went to buy comics, went out for sushi, went clothes shopping, and so much more with him. I have so many memories with him, and that fact that I am unable to make any more breaks my heart. He was the only person at Homestead who I really knew I wanted to hang out with, and now that he is gone I don’t know what to do with myself. I am so sorry for everyone in his family and I want them to know that Issac was very loved by all of his friends. He made me laugh harder than I had in such a long time, and I thank him for that. Issac, you we’re an incredible friend, and I will miss you everyday. Thank you so much for being a great friend, and an even greater of a guy. Rest easy ♥️
