Jack Mitchell Bauer

Jack Mitchell Bauer was born on October 21, 1963 and passed away on May 14, 2020. He is survived by his sister Janette Bauer of Yoder, IN, and brother Joseph Bauer and his husband Scott Brockhaus of Fort Wayne, IN, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robbie Jean Bauer and John Bauer. Jack lived all of his life in the Fort Wayne area, attended Carroll High School, and was a long-time member of the Carpenters Local Union No. 232. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and four-wheeling. Jack was also a great grill-master and enjoyed feeding his friends – he also made killer biscuits and gravy! He had a great sense of humor and was usually the life the party. Jack loved and lived life on his own terms, always giving his honest opinion, regardless of the consequences – he was his own man. An interment service is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Lindenwood Cemetery (near the pond and Bohn Chapel). Family and friends are welcome.
