Jack L. Conrad, 78, of Fort Wayne passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015. He was born on February 8, 1937 to the late Alvin and Gladys (Goldner) Conrad. He served in the Army Reserves for 20 years. He retired from Lincoln Life Insurance Company. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where he was a past chairman of the congregation, American Legion Post 296, and a past president of the residents at Covington Manor. He enjoyed spending his time golfing. Surviving family include his daughters, Sera (Mark) Ward and Crystal (Brian) Michel; grandchildren, Zachary and Shaun Ward, Grace and Sophia Michel; siblings, Jean Dray, Jane Gillian, and Donald Conrad. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his sister, Judy Zoller. A funeral service will be 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 202 West Rudisill Blvd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the church. Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse.
