Jack Lynn Esterline, age 83, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born October 7, 1940 in Fort Wayne to the late Howard W. and Matilda E. (née Wiebke) Esterline. Jack graduated from South Side High School, Class of '58 and enlisted in the United States Navy stationed in San Diego, Calif. and Key West, Fla. Jack would return to Fort Wayne and work for Zollner Corporation until his retirement in 1995.
In his leisure time, Jack loved to fish and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Jack is survived by his loving daughter, Marla of Columbia City, Ind.; brother Tom D. Esterline of Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard J. Esterline.
Funeral Service is 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 10 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will also be received from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 9 at the funeral home. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
