I was one of the many Fry cousins. Jack was one of the oldest and me one of the youngest. He was bigger than life to me growing up him being so tall and me barely 5 foot. I loved his laugh his sense of humor and most of all his love for family, his parents Uncle Jack and Aunt Mack were so proud of him. He always showed love for everyone and was patient and kind. I was so grateful to him for coming to my daughters viewing and taking the time to talk to my parents. Lots of love and support. Cherish all the memories. God bless you all.

I met Jack back in 1969 at the infamous 412 Club. As a Bellman part-time at the Sheraton Hotel while attending Art School, I’d send guests to the 412 Club for adult beverages! Following my shift, I would stop in and visit with Jack and his Father-in-law, Jimmie! That became a great friendship. Jack and I many years later, teamed up as principals of a wine distributorship. We shared strong work ethics, and similar interests. Personally, I enjoyed the experience immensely. I was honored on many occasions to join his family for Sunday dinner. Wonderful food accompanied laughter and friendships I’ll always cherish. Jack was a genuine true friend. Subsequent years unfortunately led to changes which meant the frequency of contact would be compromised due to employment schedules, etc. However, whenever we met up, I truly enjoyed reminiscing with Jack our experiences.
I regret not hearing of Jack’s passing until the day of service. I was aware of his illness, as I have been living with a form of Leukemia myself for many years. My memories of Jack will include wonderful times together over all these years. May God bless Jack and his family, always. Rest In Peace, dear friend.........

Jack and I went to school together from 6th grade through high school and were starters on the North Side basketball team our junior and senior years. He was a skilled all around athlete. He also played high school football and baseball during the summer. I am glad that I had the opportunity to talk to him and meet his lovely wife at our last class reunion two years ago. My condolences to his wife and family. He was a good guy . Mike Painter

When I was in 7th and 8th grade I idolized Jack! Being a basketball player myself, I was thrilled to watch him play for North Side under coach By Hey. I even got to watch him play on television on channel 33 with Hilliard Gates doing the sectional and regional play by play. I always looked up to him and wish we would have spent more time together. His laugh was contagious!!
