

Jackson L. Ludlum, 87, passed away September 11, 2011 at Regency Place of Fort Wayne. Mr. Ludlum was born in Andrews, Indiana, the son of Alexander and Dotte Ludlum. He was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene. A WWII veteran, he worked for the A&P Grocers, Rea Magnet Wire and the Post Office. His whistling, mischievousness, and thirst for knowledge are truly missed. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Margaret Helen Ludlum, daughter Donna of Plano, TX, son Richard, grandchildren Lynn (Matt) Karn, and Andrea Workman, great grandchildren Morgan and Peyton Karn, and Steven Workman, sister Ruth Fidler of Ruskin, FL, brothers David of the Philippines, and Alex of Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Rebecca Petre. Our sincere appreciation to Regency Place, Heartland Hospice, the VA, as well as all who have cared for Dad over the years.
Funeral service is at 11 am on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Ft. Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 5-8pm Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery
