James P. Firestone, 69, of Fort Wayne passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026. He was born on May 28, 1956, in Angola, Indiana, son of the late Paul and Ida (Ward) Firestone. James enjoyed participating in scouting, as a reenactor at the Old Fort downtown, and being a part of the Maumee Valley Blacksmith association. He is survived by his children, Zachary Firestone and Shannon (Alexander) McDaniel; and grandson, Theodore McDaniel. James was also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Firestone; first wife, Deborah Firestone; and sister, Celeste Haskell. A Celebration of life will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026 at UAW Local 2209, 5820 East 900 North Roanoke, Indiana 46783. Memorial contributions in James memory may be made to the Old Fort.
